1. Who we are
This privacy policy explains how BEAST CODES AND SERVICES LTD (“we”, “us”, “our”), a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 17478733, with its registered office at 128 City Road, London, United Kingdom, EC1V 2NX, collects and uses personal data when you visit this website or contact us. We are the controller of that personal data for the purposes of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Contact for privacy questions: contact@thebeastservice.com.
2. Personal data we collect
2.1 Enquiry form
When you submit the contact form we collect: your full name, email address, the service you are interested in, the description of your project, and — if you choose to provide them — your company name and telephone number. We also record the date of the enquiry, the page from which it was sent and your confirmation that you agree to this policy.
2.2 Correspondence
If you email us, we keep the content of the correspondence and your contact details.
2.3 Technical data
Like most websites, our hosting server may automatically record technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request in server logs, for security and troubleshooting. This website is hosted by Hostinger (Hostinger UK Limited, 6 Lloyds Avenue, Suite 4CL, London EC3N 3AX, United Kingdom). Data centre location: [DATA CENTRE LOCATION TO CONFIRM IN HOSTINGER hPanel].
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. See our Cookie Policy.
3. Why we use your data and our lawful bases
- Replying to your enquiry and taking steps before a possible contract — lawful basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) UK GDPR), or our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)).
- Managing our client relationships and business records — legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)), and compliance with legal obligations such as accounting and tax rules (Article 6(1)(c)).
- Keeping the website secure and working — legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)).
We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not send marketing emails unless you have asked to receive them or the law otherwise permits it, in line with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR). You can object to such messages at any time.
4. Who we share data with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the website and our business, acting on our instructions under appropriate contracts:
- Website hosting: Hostinger (Hostinger UK Limited, 6 Lloyds Avenue, Suite 4CL, London EC3N 3AX, United Kingdom)
- Email service: Hostinger (Hostinger Email), used for the contact@thebeastservice.com mailbox that receives enquiries
- Professional advisers (for example accountants or lawyers) where necessary, and public authorities where the law requires it.
5. International transfers
Our hosting and email provider, Hostinger, states in its own privacy policy that personal information may be processed and stored by Hostinger, its affiliates and service providers in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Lithuania or Cyprus, and in other jurisdictions where necessary to deliver its services, and that transfers outside the EU/EEA are made under data transfer agreements such as standard contractual clauses. The exact location of the servers used for this website depends on the hosting plan: [DATA CENTRE LOCATION TO CONFIRM IN HOSTINGER hPanel].
Where personal data is transferred outside the United Kingdom, we rely on UK adequacy regulations (which currently cover the EU/EEA countries mentioned above) or on appropriate safeguards such as the International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. You can ask us for more information about these safeguards at contact@thebeastservice.com.
6. How long we keep data
- Enquiries that do not lead to a contract: [DATA RETENTION PERIOD TO CONFIRM — e.g. 12 months] after our last exchange.
- Client and contract records: as long as required by law, including accounting and tax obligations (generally six years after the end of the financial year concerned).
- Server logs: [LOG RETENTION PERIOD TO CONFIRM WITH HOSTING PROVIDER].
7. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to: be informed; access your personal data; have inaccurate data rectified; have data erased; restrict processing; data portability; object to processing based on legitimate interests or used for direct marketing; and not be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.
To exercise a right, contact us at contact@thebeastservice.com. We will respond within one month, which may be extended in limited circumstances allowed by law. We may need to verify your identity.
8. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO): ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, telephone 0303 123 1113.
9. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including restricted access, secure connections and keeping software up to date. Please do not send passwords, API keys or other secrets through the contact form.
10. Children
Our services are intended for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
